Only in Studio edition you are able to see contents. In HDA and Complete edition, editing and diving inside HDA is locked.

Yes, all HDAs in HIP Scene product are unlocked and free to edit and use for personal or commercial purposes.

All products on this website come with Indie license. If you open them in Houdini Core or FX, you wont be able to save scene in full commercial mode.

To obtain full commercial license for CrusherSOP HDA, please buy at from Orbolt.

There are few ways to get HDA into Houdini. Here are two easiest:

  1. From Assets -> Install Asset Library…
  2. Copy all *.hdalc files to “otls” folder in your User Houdini folder.

Windows, Linux and MaxOS.

Hotkeys are binded via Shelf tools. You can edit hotkey just like for any Houdini Shelf Tool.

To install provided Shelf with predefined CrusherSOP tools, copy CrusherSOP.shelf file to “toolbar” folder in your User Houdini folder.

Please make a support post and include hip file, together with steps to reproduce crash. Most cases can be traced down to the root of the cause and properly addressed. I can fix CrusherSOP code immediately, if its native Houdini problem, I can follow up with SideFx to seek their assistance.

For HIP Scene, I do not offer any support. I cannot help you with your setups or extend beyond what is already in hip file.

This node suffers from nondeterministic behavior. Combination of Compiled For Loop, Remesh SOP and Boolean, yields different result during each Houdini session. When you send batch job on the farm (even local scheduler), you might get different result. Visaully all results will look correct, but point order or count might vary. It has been reported to SESI in March 2019, [SESI #76232].
